Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. She was awarded the highest praise for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton, in the feature film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey was a part of Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years throughout her childhood. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class of 2012. Harvard University had accepted her. But, they had to agree to her admission two times. The second time was due to her Nashville part. Peeples appeared as a guest star in the series Drop Dead Diva (2009-09) Burn Notice (2007) Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin and Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), as well as a character who appeared in Necessary roughness (1991). She appeared in made for television shows Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was Layla Grant, a major part of the Nashville second season drama. In 2019, Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples as one of the top performers under 20 in September 2014.
